Are you guys ready for another super easy, cute #hairstyle?? Today we’ll show y’all how to create #TripleFlipFlips on my niece Kilee! This is a super cute hairstyle that holds up really well through a day of activity. Would you wear this?

This hairstyle does take a little time to complete, but the end result is just beautiful! Using a Topsy Tail Tool is essential for this particular style, because there is so much looping and flipping the hair! 😂 Once you get the hang of using one, it makes hairstyles SO much easier!

Instructions:

Step 1: Pull the hair up into an elastic (start about an inch above the ear), and wrap hair around the elastic to hide it.


Step 2: Divide the ponytail into 3 even sections.

Step 3: On the middle section, place an elastic a couple of inches down from the top.

Step 4: Repeat step 3 on the left and right sections.

Step 5: Divide each section in half and flip the ponytail through the hole up towards the ceiling.

Step 6: Take a topsy tail straight down through the middle, and pop the middle section up through the topsy tail. Do not pull all the way through (leave about an inch sticking up).

Step 7: Repeat step 6 for the left and right sections (make sure to put the topsy tail at an angle for the side sections).

Step 8: Gather the end pieces together, secure together with an elastic.

Step 9: Divide this section in half and flip the ponytail up towards the ceiling. Fluff however much you want!

Step 10: Go down a couple more inches, and repeat step 9. Depending on hair length, keep going down the section of hair a couple of inches, and continue to repeat step 9.

Add bows, ribbons, or any hair accessories to this style to add some color and really make it pop!


Items Needed: Rat tail comb, hair brush, 1 ponytail holder, 4-5 hair elastics, styling wax, and Topsy Tail tool

Time Requirement: 8-10 minutes
